Helping Yorkshire Maximise the ability in disability

At OT4life, we believe disability should never define a person’s potential. Our mission is to maximise the ability in disability by providing personalised, compassionate occupational therapy within the Yorkshire and North West of England that empowers people to live safely, confidently, and independently, right in their own homes.

Our Founding Story

OT4life was founded by Aaron Craven from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist who saw a growing need for personalised, practical support delivered where it matters most—in a client's own home. After years working within the NHS and community services, it became clear that many people were falling through the gaps, left to manage complex needs with little tailored guidance or follow-up care.

Driven by a genuine passion for helping people live well at home, we founded OT4life to offer a more personal, hands-on service than what we saw in mainstream healthcare. We wanted to create a service where our clients felt truly heard and supported—where the focus wasn’t just on addressing symptoms, but on providing practical, thoughtful solutions that make everyday life easier. For us, it’s always been about seeing the person, not just the problem, and ensuring each client feels safe, confident, and empowered in their own space.

Since launching, we at OT4life have supported countless individuals and families across West Yorkshire and the North of England, delivering expert assessments, hands-on rehabilitation, and meaningful results that last a lifetime. At its heart, OT4life was founded on compassion, integrity, and a belief that everyone should be able to live life on their own terms. No matter their disability
